EDIT: experiencing a couple bugs:
- Some zipper noise when rapidly changing X/Y pan values via i2c. Some smoothing might be needed?
- The EX will randomly switch into dual mode when receiving rapidly changing inputs via i2c. It only occurs with this algorithm (tried it with the matrix mixer and all was stable)

Please don't edit posts with substantive new information. It's only by chance that I even noticed these additions.

There is some smoothing - perhaps not enough.

I'm going to split off these posts into a new thread, to save flooding the general feature request thread with quad mixer stuff.
