I completely disagree, Rossum modules are very well built. I own an Assimil8or, Morpheus, Evolution x2, and a Control Forge and have not had any hardware or non-hardware issues with them. You are not going to find a more reliable sampler than the Assimil8or. I wonder if you’ve realized this by now or have you moved on to another sampler that better suit your needs.Well, it is kinda disappointing to me that I bought the most expensive sampler in eurorack format and it is that easy to break. As great as it is, at this point I am kinda regretting buying it and may sell it and get a more reliable sampler, even if it isnt as powerful. Especially because my whole setup is based around a sampler, if it is going to break and crash all the time maybe it is not the sampler for me.I wouldn't stress... ha, I feel like I've locked it up like this before. They'll get you sorted I bet. And I don't think it's a power issue, and I'd be surprised if it's a hardware issue. I'm sure something happened and you locked it up somehow.I disconnected everything from my case(Intellijel 7u 3.0amp psu)That sucks! The only thing I can think of before contacting Rossum would be to make sure there are no power issues (as in "the unit is not getting the power it needs to boot"). Try connecting it to a different case - if you have one?!
and only connected the A8 with a brand new blank sd card and still the same result. I created a ticket with Rossum and hopefully they will get back to me tomorrow with a solution. The module is only a couple of months old, but i have hope because at least it turns on with the logo so I know its not completely dead. Hopefully just a software issue.
