Working with Jack from SetonixSynth, what started off as a really simple idea is turning into something really unique and fun, he helped out with development for my very first Robots Are Red. module! Thanks Jack!
It's a pretty simple noise gate module with a threshold detector, "floor" suppression amount, attack and release control, and an overall level output. Then the threshold detector can flip making it a compressor. The controls can easily get into extreme territories giving things a really great pumping effect. There is an envelope output whenever it is engaged, a duck input (with it's own envelope follower), and cv control over threshold and floor. Along with an auto engage cv input.
You can also use this for sidechaining since the left input has the envelope follower, you patch your main mono audio into the R input and use the left for the sidechain. So many other applications with this module especially with self patching the envelope out into the floor or duck inputs.
I'm expecting this to be available by the end of March this year. It should be approx $170 usd.
