I've actually seen relatively few power supply related issues with old 200s but sure they can happen.. old 200s mostly suffer from dead devices (vactrols, opamps, logic and transistors) .. when any of those die they tend to take out the fusing resistors.

100 series suffer from bad caps, bad transistors and like Reed mentioned new pots on the VCO frequency controls can help stabilize things.. also seen a fair number of worn out 41 jacks as well strangely enough.

most of the issues I've had to fight with on vintage Buchlas are due to poor previous service.. which can be a total bitch and why I don't generally take on things that others have tried to fix and given up on.. I fixed a VCO for SUNY that went through perhaps 2 techs before me and I finally found the shorted trace below a replaced op-amp.

careful with garage sale builds.. some of those are terrible.. some of the very first work I ever did with electronics was assembling these kits so I would say that stuff isn't my finest work... in recent years I've actually gone back and fixed a few of those that came back around to try to bring them up to snuff... I have a set of 259s in at the moment on my todo list which are horrific, not sure who was responsible for them.
