I’m slowly working my way through all 60 odd pages of this thread (currently at people eagerly awaiting the $3999 modern easels in 2021 ![😂]()
). I was about to adopt a modern easel but found a command second hand and couldn’t pass it up.
Wow.
Gotta say how truly inspiring this piece of kit is, for something to have survived 5 decades and still feel fresh and inspiring is just amazing, i’m definitely in the honeymoon period but can see this getting a lot of my attention.
And now, the question. How is everyone “saving” their patches. Do you prefer patch sheets? The card system (i havent wrapped my head around this yet)? photos?
I dont generally save (or record) anything i make but last night i made a patch, set it off and went about the house doing some chores. One of my partners friends was over and she was like “omg you have to record this its beautiful!” And it made me think maybe i should at least record the patch for later use.
Anyway im just waffling really. Nothing much to add except I’m currently loving the solid and playable nature of the command. Built well enough and all the ranges are so musical. If this love affair continues i think a little 4u buchla boat to join it may be on the cards
